Description
This is a small World War I poster of the USS D-3 from the Illustrated Current News published in New Haven, Connecticut. The D-3 started out her career in 1910 at Quincy, Massachusetts as the USS Salmon. She was renamed D-3 in 1911 and then once again to SS-1The photo shows a fleet of subs with the D-3 leading, her crew out on top for some air.
VINTAGE:Circa World War I.
SIZE:Approximately 12-5/8" in height by 18-7/8" in width (not including foam board).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Paper.

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The poster has some small rips along the edge, with light spots of grayish discoloration/staining along the right-hand edge.
