This is a 1930s Boston, Massachusetts police sergeant badge that belonged to Sergeant Theodore F. Roth and issued as a retirement badge in the 1940s. The badge came to us with other badges of his. The badge reads SERGEANT POLICE RETIRED BOSTON and shows the seal of the City of Boston.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:3-1/8" height and 2-3/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:3018 stamped on reverse.
