Description
Rare, early 1920's Boston, Massachusetts Police Sergeant Badge. The breast badge reads: "SERGEANT POLICE BOSTON" and in the center disc depicts a port and below it reads "BOSTONIA CONDITA AD. 1630", around the disc embossed letters read: "SICUT CIVITATIS REGIMINE DONATA AD 1822 PATRIBUS SIT DEUS NOBIS" and is numbered #2120 on the reverse. The badge was likely chrome plated and catch replaced in the 1930's.

CONDITION:8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, appears to have been chrome plated in the 1930's & catch was replaced. Badge appears to have been cleaned or "dipped" recently, much of the painted details remain intact.
