This is a rare circa 1920s Boston Police Sergeant hat badge. This badge was worn in a gold color only for a short time, and then changed to silver. It is numbered 8 and shows the Seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/16" in height and 1-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post, disc backing, stabilization post.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has only a few small spots of light wear.
