Scarce WWII United States Marine Corps VMF(N)-544 jacket patch. Great, salty example removed from flight jacket. The center shows a winged shield depicting a knight's head shrouded in armor with red bolts rising from his head and one green and one red eye. The outer edge features a yellow border with 13 yellow embroidered stars.
VINTAGE:Circa WWII
SIZE:Approximately 6-1/16" x 4-7/8"
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidered wool, cotton/polyester/silk thread, canvas
