Description
This is a Korean War vintage United States Marine Corps jacket patch for VMF-322 (Marine Fighter Squadron 322), also known as the "Fighting Cocks". Active during World War II, most notably at the Battle of Okinawa, VMF-322 proudly wore this Disney-designed patch. Reactivated in July 1951 after a one and a half year hiatus, the squadron resumed flying Vought F4U Corsair fighter jets, as well as wearing the same patch. It is embroidered upon yellow twill and shows a vulture wearing boxing gloves.
