This is a scarce circa World War II United States Coast Guard CPO (Chief Petty Officer) hat badge. The badge is in sterling silver and was made by H&H.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING, H&H maker mark.
