ARTIFACT: Nice WWII United States Coast Guard Officer Overseas Hat Badge. Scarce in this small size made from 1/20 10K gold fill and sterling by H & H. The badge shows an eagle perched atop a horizontal anchor, the breast of the eagle displays a stars and bars shield and its wings are spread wide while his gaze is to the viewers left. The reverse shows a nice makers mark and riveted construction.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 1 3/8" x 1 3/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 1/20 10K gold fill, sterling, two-piece riveted construction.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in swivel locking catch.

MARKINGS: "H & H" makers mark; "1/20 10K + STER"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a USCG collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX13 LFJX6/15 SEJX9/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The pin shows moderate to heavy wear/oxidation mostly on reverse, much of the gold fill remains, overall handsome patina.
