This is a scarce single United States Air Transport Command (ATC) flight crew rank pin from World War II. The ATC was set up in 1942 to coordinate all transportation of necessary aircraft, employees ad materiel within the United States and beyond.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX12 L/SFEX11/12
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has some light wear and tarnishing.
