ARTIFACT: This is a scarce World War II Civilian Air Transport Command (ATC) flight crew uniform shoulder patch. During the war, commercial airlines and their civilian workers continued working while satisfying a vital part of the USAAF's immense transport needs: this was the civilian branch of the Army Air Transport Command. It is fully embroidered in red and brown thread.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 3" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk thread.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Civilian Air Transport Command collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. TRAX14 LHEX7/14

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The patch has only very light wear / curling along edge.
