ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa World War II painted United States Army Civilian Air Transport Command (ATC) distinctive insignia-style collar insignia. The ATC was set up in 1942 to coordinate all transportation of necessary aircraft, employees ad materiel within the United States and beyond. The insignia has an Art Deco design and reads ACHIEVED BY DAUNTLESS RESOLUTION AND UNCONQUERABLE FAITH.

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Copper-plated brass, painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX12 LGEX11/12

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The insignia shows some spots of light to medium wear; pin is delicate.
