This is a rare World War II Civilian Air Transport Command radio operator crew wing. The wing is a half wing and shows two lightning bolts.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in width by 3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX12 LEGEX2/12 SCJJX2/12
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows some light wear and tarnish and has a nice patina.
