ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce British Forces Norway patch as worn by US Troops during the liberation of Norway. The patch is a blue square with a silhouette of a Viking ship under full sail against the sunset in white.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/4" square.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Printed cotton patch with muslin backing.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): Patch has light to medium wear, mostly along edge.
