Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce United States Marine Corps airborne troops shoulder patch. The patch shows a winged parachute within a diamond with five stars in the background.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

2-3/4" height and 1-15/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Blue canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX10 LAGEX4/10 SAGEX3/11

CONDITION:

7 (Very Fine): Patch shows some light wear and discoloration.
