Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce United States Marine Corps airborne troops (paratrooper) shirt-size shoulder patch. The patch shows a winged parachute within a diamond with five stars in the background.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads with mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAEJX10 LBBEX3/11 SAHJX5/15

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows light wear with one small area of slight discoloration, mostly on reverse.
