ARTIFACT: Scarce variant circa 1943 Royal Air Force (RAF) Signaler (Wireless Operator) wing made in the United Kingdom. The wing shows the letter: "S" encircled by a brown wreath with a white embroidered wing and is padded for Service Dress.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 3" x 1-15/16"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, cotton/polyester thread, padding, treated paper backing

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX16 LABEX12/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent+): The wing shows minor wear, colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
