ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa early World War II Royal Air Force (RAF) radio observer wing. The wing is padded for service dress and the wreath beneath the "RO" is in golden brown embroidery.

VINTAGE: Circa early World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 3" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in silk/cotton threads, padding, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Great Britain and Commonwealth militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay CON-JST-XXX13 LADEX6/13 SLACJX7/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing shows very little wear and a very minor stain on the reverse only.
