ARTIFACT: This is a World War II Royal Air Force radio observer wing for battle dress. The wing's design is a wreathed RO with one spread wing.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: 2-3/8" height and 3" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fine wool felt patch embroidered in cotton/silk threads with twill backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Royal Air Force wing collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX08 LGEX 5/10

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): Wing has very little wear except for a small flaw on reverse.
