ARTIFACT: Scarce mid-50's United States Navy FASRON-116 (Fleet Air Service Squadrons) Jacket Patch. The patch depicts a rising hand holding a wrench with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background and planes flying overhead. FASRON-116 was based at NAS Alameda, California and was disestablished in June 1959. FASRONs began after WWII and went away in 1960.

VINTAGE: Circa mid- 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 5" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered, silk/cotton/polyester thread

ATTACHMENT: None.
