This is a scarce wool jacket patch for the United States Navy Construction Battalion or "Seabees". It reads U.S. NAVY SEABEES and shows a bumblebee with a sailor's hat holding a variety of construction tools.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-3/4" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blue woolen patch embroidered in yellow, black and white cotton/silk threads.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Patch has light wear and discoloration.
