This is a scarce early World War II United States Army Air Forces 4th Air Force "horizontal weave" variant patch. The patch shows a winged star atop four golden rays.
Circa early World War II.
Approximately 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
The patch you will receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a WWII USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX14 LAGX4/14
