ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa 1944-1945 Royal Canadian Air Force wireless air gunner wing. The wing is in the flared wing pattern and reads WAG RCAF framed by rust-colored laurels. It is topped by a beautiful scarlet red crown.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II (1944-1945).

SIZE:

Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 4-1/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
