Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce circa 1980s Ethiopian Air Force pilot wing made in Korea. The wing shows a seated lion at center and the wing's feathers have a great distinctive pattern. The wing is maker-marked on reverse.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1980s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1" in height and 3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal kick pin with swivel catch (locking part of catch is missing, but pin still closes adequately).

MARKINGS:

HANIL KOREA.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a foreign militaria wings collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM12 L/SGEX9/13

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The wing shows only light wear and the locking part of catch is missing, but the pin still closes adequately.
