This is a scarce circa 1939 to 1944 Bulgarian pilot qualification wing badge. The badge is in a pierced design and shows an eagle with spread wings with a royal crown and a "B", which is the cypher for Boris III, King of Bulgaria.
VINTAGE:Circa 1939-1944.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 2-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
