This is a nice circa 1944 United States Army Air Forces pilot wing in sterling silver by Amico. The wing has a striped crest at center which is very convex.
VINTAGE:Circa 1944.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" height and 3" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:AMICO STERLING.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army Air Forces collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MDFX11 LADEX4/11
CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): This wing has light to medium wear and a handsome tarnish.
