ARTIFACT: This is a scarce, unused 1950s United States Marine Corps Attack Squadron 224 (VMA-224) decal for a flight jacket. The group was known as the "Bengals", and flew F9F Panthers in the 1950s.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: Approximately 7" in height by 7" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Decal.

ATTACHMENT: Peel-off.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VAJX06 LADEX4/12

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The decal has not been used. It has some faint creasing and spots of wear on the front with some spots of minor discoloration to the reverse.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
