ARTIFACT:

This is a scarce United States Marine Corps VMB-423 (Marine Bombing Squadron 423) patch 2nd design from World War II. VMB-423 was in existence from September 15, 1943 until November 30, 1945, and served in both the Philippines and on Espiritu Santo, Sterling and Green Islands. The patch is a decal on leather and features a fantastic fire-breathing seahorse.

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-15/16" in diameter.

CONDITION:
