ARTIFACT: This is a scarce 1940s Pan Am Airways mechanics badge in sterling silver by Balfour.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: About 1-1/4" in width by 7/8" in length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Sterling silver with enamel accents.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with a come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: STERLING BALFOUR
