1945-1950 Pan Am Airways (PAA) Flight Crew Hat Badge in Gold-Filled Sterling by Balfour

This is a circa 1945-1950 gold-filled Pan Am flight crew hat badge in gold-filled sterling silver by Balfour. The badge is double-wreathed in oak leaves and acorns and shows a view of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding destinations in blue enamel and gold.

Circa 1945-1950.

1-5/16" height and 1-7/16" width.

Gold-filled sterling silver with enamel.

Single screw post with disc backing with two stabilization posts.
