This is a 1937 Hitler Youth donation lapel pin. "Hitler Youth" was initially an organization formed to groom teenagers as anti-Semites, but during the War the Youths became fair game to restore depleted military manpower. The pin shows a diamond with a swastika at its center and an eagle at the top.
VINTAGE:Circa 1937.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 5/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:White metal.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:HILLENBRAND & BROER LUDENSCHEID.
