ARTIFACT: Scarce 1930's Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Field Leader Rank Stripes. The single rank patch is scarlet red wool felt embroidered with three green rank stripes and five pointed star and is backed with gauze. The CCC was a work opportunity program created by Roosevelt's New Deal.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: Approximately 4" x 2-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, gauze

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The patch show minor to moderate wear, two small moth nips, and light scrapbooking remnants on reverse.
