ARTIFACT:

Scarce 1930's Asheville, North Carolina Police Badge #23 in stamped nickel. An eagle sits perched atop the badge, with a center that features the State Seal of North Carolina and letters surrounding it which read: "ASHEVILLE POLICE 23".

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's.

SIZE:

Approximately: 2-3/4" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped nickel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

8 (Excellent-): Badge shows only minor to moderate wear and a period repair to the catch, nice even patina.
