Nice Old 1930's - 40's Wilmington, North Carolina Police Badge #2

Nice, old 1930's Ð 1940's Wilmington, North Carolina Police Badge #The ornate badge is topped with an eagle with lovely wings and surrounding details. The center of the badge features the Seal of the State of North Carolina depicting 'Liberty and Plenty' facing one another, above them raised letters read: "NORTH CAROLINA" and below them are five stars. Letters on the badge read: "POLICE WILMINGTON NORTH CAROLINA". The badge features an ingenious period of wear repair to the pin with the same great spring tension the original would have had. Southern police badges are hard to find!
