ARTIFACT: This is a scarce 1930s-1940s police badge from Miami, Florida numbered 66. It is a hollow, two-piece badge in chrome-plated nickel with an applied City of Miami seal. The badge was re-chromed in the 1950s or early 1960s, at the time when the pin and locking catch were replaced during the final part of its period of wear.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE: Approximately 2-7/8" height and 1-3/4" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome-plated nickel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch (catch has been replaced).

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Florida police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MEEX11 LCIEX5/11 SeCIEX2/15

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light abrasions and some small areas of tarnishing (mostly on reverse); possibly re-chromed; catch has been replaced.
