Description
This is a scarce 1930s-1940s police badge from Miami, Florida numbered 6It is a hollow, two-piece badge in chrome-plated nickel with an applied City of Miami seal. The badge was re-chromed in the 1950s or early 1960s, at the time when the pin and locking catch were replaced during the final part of its period of wear.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" height and 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch (catch has been replaced).
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some light abrasions and some small areas of tarnishing (mostly on reverse); possibly re-chromed; catch has been replaced.
