ARTIFACT:

1920's United States Marine Corps Sharpshooter Badge in silver plated brass. The badge reads: "SHARPSHOOTER" and suspended from the bar is a target inside of a Maltese cross, as worn by the Marines in China and the Banana Wars.

Circa 1920's

Approximately 1 ¾" x 1 ¾"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver plated brass

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with 'C' catch.

7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows moderate to heavy wear, much of the plating remains intact.
