Description
Rare 1920's early 1930's United States Marine Corps Sharpshooter badge by F. H. Noble in sterling. The planchet shows a Maltese cross with a target in the center and is suspended from a bar that reads: "SHARPSHOOTER" in embossed lettering. The reverse shows the Noble maker mark, an encircled "N" with "STERLING" below.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920's early 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" x 1-1/2".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with safety-type open catch.
