ARTIFACT: This is a rare circa 1920 set of dog tags for the United States Marine Corps. The enlisted man who owned the tags, Frank Mallery, participated in the Banana Wars in the Caribbean. A muster sheet from 1922 (not included) shows him as a Motion Picture operator with 3rd Marines in the Dominican Republic. He trained at Quantico. The Dog Tag appears to have a middle initial of M while all of the records of the only Marine with this last name is a C.

SIZE: 1-3/8" diameter each.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an early United States Marine Corps collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MCHX06 LBDEX
