Royal Australian Navy/US Army 135th Aviation Co. (RAN USA) Joint Forces Patch

This is a circa Vietnam War era Royal Australian Navy (RAN)/US Army 135th Aviation Company joint forces pocket patch. In the fall of 1967, dozens of RAN crew were deployed with the 135th. The patch shows a crossed missile and cannon behind a bomb decorated with a red kangaroo. The patch reads WITHOUT ARMAMENT THERE IS NO NEED FOR GUNSHIPS.

Circa Vietnam War.

Approximately 4-3/16" in height and 3-11/16" in width.

Cotton/muslin embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.
