Description
This is a circa Vietnam War era Royal Australian Navy (RAN)/US Army 135th Aviation Company joint forces pocket patch. In the fall of 1967, dozens of RAN crew were deployed with the 135th. The patch shows a crossed missile and cannon behind a bomb decorated with a red kangaroo. The patch reads WITHOUT ARMAMENT THERE IS NO NEED FOR GUNSHIPS.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:Approximately 4-3/16" in height and 3-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton/muslin embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester threads.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows very light wear and some small patches of slight discoloration on the reverse only.
