ARTIFACT:

This is a distinctive insignia for the Republic of Vietnam Anti-Aircraft Artillery School. The DI is in the "beer can" style, giving it an ultra-thin profile. The DI is painted in red and white and shows an artillery gun beneath an eight-pointed star.
VINTAGE:Circa Vietnam War.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height by 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with painted areas.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical safety-style pin with saddle.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a Vietnamese militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJL94 LEHX12/11
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI has some very small spots of wear.
