This is a rare World War II United States Navy Relief Society badge presented for completion of 5,000 volunteer hours. The Relief Society, first organized in 1904, is now known as the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS). The badge is gold-filled and enameled in white.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" square.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:1/10-10K GF.
