This is a rare World War II United States Navy (USN) cap badge made by G.H.S. of New York. The badge is in two pieces and depicts a spread winged eagle standing upon a US Shield with crossed anchors behind and is metallic coated to appear as though its made of gilt brass and silver.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 2-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Metallic coated plastic.
ATTACHMENT:Single post with disc backing, clip.
