This is a rare World War II Royal Dutch Air Force pilot-observer wing in bullion. The wing is English-made, and shows an eagle sailing past an orange sun. The wreathed "W" beneath him stands for observer (waarnemer).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 3-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered with bullion thread, silk details, cloth backing.
