Description
This is a stunning 1930s or World War II Royal Dutch Navy pilot-observer wing in bullion. The patch is unused. It is Dutch-made, and shows an eagle sailing past an orange sun with a wreathed "W" beneath him. The "W" stands for waarnemer (observer)
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s - World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/2" in height and 4-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered with bullion thread, silk details, cloth backing.
