Rare WWII Issue Australian Army Slouch Hat in superb condition. This example is a size 7 1/4 and is dated on the inside leather sweatband the stamp reads: "V. 402 7 1/4 1945", some of the sweatband stitching has come loose ??? does not detract.

Circa WWII

Approximately 7 1/4 Ear to ear: 6-5/8"; Front to back: 8"; 11" in total width, 14-3/4" total length

Beaver felt, leather, brass rivets and brass snap, cotton

8+ (Excellent): The slouch hat shows minor wear, the sweatband shows loose threads that do not detract, overall excellent condition.
