Rare WWII Chinese Army "M-43" Hat Used by and Named to GI

This is a rare Chinese Army hat in the "M-43" style used by the German Wehrmacht. The hat was used by an American GI and is named to him inside. The cap has a Chinese sun pinned at center front and a wide band with two plain brass insignia that goes around the entire perimeter of the hat. The interior of the hat is lined in colorful patterns that contradict the muted look of the hat.

Circa World War II.

No tag: approximate size 7 - 7 1/8.

Twill, leather, wool/cotton embroidery, brass, painted brass.
