ARTIFACT:

This is a rare CBI-theatre Red Cross blood donor pin from India. The badge is round and reads BLOOD DONOR in two languages with a red cross in relief at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver-plated copper.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal Y pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

R:K & CO CALCUTTA.
