This is a rare CBI-theatre Red Cross two years of service pin from India. The pin is a rectangular bar with an enameled cross at either end and a nicely scripted number 2 in relief at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5/16" in height and 1-3/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver plated copper with enameled areas.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal Y pin with "C" catch; two folding prongs.
MARKINGS:RUING (?) CALCUTTA.

CONDITION:6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The pin shows moderate to heavy wear.
