This is a small World War II United States Navy son-in-service pin in plated sterling silver. The pin is an anchor bearing the letters USN and a rectangle with a single silver star against a field of blue.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated sterling silver, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:STERLING.
