ARTIFACT: Extremely rare WWII 'Reverse Top' CBI Theater shoulder patch. This example is Indian-made and features a bullion embroidered five point star and Chinese sun, with the sun at the viewer's left and below red and white silk ribbon. This variant was reportedly worn by a Merrill's Marauder's member and came with a large motto Merrill's patch. See link below.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII.

SIZE: Approximately 3-1/2" x 2-5/16".

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bullion embroidered wool felt, silk ribbon, paperboard, linen backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The patch shows minor to moderate wear, some light soiling, bullion has nice patina, overall excellent condition.
