Description
Rare WWI 314th Machine Gun Battalion, 80th Infantry Division United States Army Officer collar insignia and shoulder patch. The collar insignia depicts two crossed guns with the letters: "MG" on either side and the number: "314" above. The shoulder patch is embroidered olive drab with a red machine gun on a tripod.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-World War II
SIZE:Approximately Collar Insignia: 2" x 1"; Shoulder Patch: 2" x 1-3/4".
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Blackened bronze, nickel pin, embroidered olive drab canvas with red silk/polyester/cotton thread.
ATTACHMENT:Collar insignia: Horizontal nickel pin with 'C' catch.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+ Overall): Collar insignia shows minor to moderate wear, nearly all the plating details remain intact. Shoulder patch shows minor to moderate wear, an area of separation and slight fading/soiling, removed from uniform.
